  1. Giving up something that is already lost has many advantages. First, it indicates that you’re no longer living in the past, which in turn encourages you to think, and plan for the future. It also improves attitude and reminds you to take responsibility for whatever was lost. President Truman was known for saying “the buck stops here” which was rather a new way of viewing loss at the time,
